Although you can model every single little detail of your robot model yourself, you can save literally months of time by simply downloading one or more of the many kitbashing details packs that you can find on Artstation, Gumroad and other places. It takes a little practice and the right workflow but once you're in the groove, you're building robots in no time with this method. It's especially useful for things like robot hands and feet.
